Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
In short: we collect the information you enter so we can prepare your screening and, if you ask for it, help with a Medicaid application. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. The details below explain what we collect, who processes it for us, and how to reach us about it.
1. Who we are
Medicaid In A Minute is a service of Senior Care Resources LLC (“Senior Care Resources,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the website at MedicaidInAMinute.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the Site, the screening questionnaire, and the secure portal where families complete and return their intake.
Senior Care Resources is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Legal services, when a family requests them, are provided separately by Zacharia Frey PLLC under its own engagement terms and its own privacy practices. See our Disclaimer.
2. Information you give us
Getting started
When you request the screening we collect your name and email address, the name of the person who may need care (the “applicant”), the applicant’s marital status, and a spouse’s name if applicable.
The screening itself
The screening asks financial and household questions in order to identify possible eligibility concerns. Depending on your situation, that can include:
- Income sources and approximate monthly amounts for the applicant and spouse
- Bank, investment, and retirement accounts and approximate balances
- Real estate, including a homestead, and any mortgage balance
- Life insurance, annuities, burial arrangements, and other assets
- Gifts or transfers made during the Medicaid lookback period
- Household and shelter expenses, and insurance premiums
- Marital status, dates of birth, family circumstances, and citizenship or immigration status
- Current care setting, facility, admission date, and how care is being paid for
- Whether a power of attorney, guardianship, or qualified income trust exists, and who holds that authority
- A Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (the number printed on a Medicare card)
Documents and signatures
If you upload documents — a completed intake form, a power of attorney, statements, or other records — we store the files you send. If you sign one of the standard Medicaid forms in the portal, we store the completed, signed PDF along with the name and role of the signer.
Social Security numbers
We do not store Social Security numbers as a data field in our system, and the screening does not ask for one. Two of the standard Medicaid forms require an SSN; when you complete one of those, the number you type is written into that form’s PDF only, and that PDF is kept in private storage with your other documents.
Messages you send us
If you use the “Have a question?” form or request a callback, we collect your name, contact details, and whatever you write, and we email it to our intake inbox so a person can reply.
3. Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security logs. Our hosting and network provider records standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
- Bot protection. Forms that anyone can submit are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a challenge that distinguishes people from automated scripts.
- Browser storage. If you sign in to the portal, your browser stores a session so you stay signed in between visits, plus a simple flag noting that an account exists. This is functional storage — it is what keeps you logged in — and is not used for advertising.
- Analytics and advertising. At the time of this update, the Site runs no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy before turning any such tool on.
4. How we use your information
- To generate your preliminary screening results and identify possible eligibility concerns
- To email you the intake form, sign-in codes, confirmations, and your results
- To have a specialist review what you submitted and follow up with you
- To provide Medicaid application preparation or management services, if you request them
- To respond to your questions and callback requests
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and the screening
- To comply with law, and to establish or defend legal claims
We do not use your screening answers to advertise to you, and we do not build advertising profiles.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the service. They may process your information only to perform work for us:
- Supabase — the database, sign-in system, and private file storage where your intake and documents are kept.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, delivery, and the anti-bot check on our public forms.
- Resend — delivery of the emails we send you (intake forms, sign-in codes, confirmations, and results).
- Anthropic — the AI service behind our document-review and question- answering features. If you upload a power of attorney for review, or use the Ask MIAM assistant, the relevant text is sent to that service to produce the response. Under our agreement with that provider, information we submit through its interface is not used to train its models.
- Descript — hosting and playback of our introductory video. The video player loads from Descript only when you choose to play it, and Descript receives the standard request information any video host does, such as your IP address and browser type. Nothing you enter into the screening is involved.
Affiliated organizations
If you ask for help beyond the screening, we may share what is necessary with Senior Care Resources’ application-services team or, where the matter involves legal work, with Zacharia Frey PLLC. Sharing with the law firm happens because you have asked for legal help; it does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
Agencies and other recipients
If you engage us to prepare or manage a Medicaid application, we submit the information the application requires to the relevant agency and, where you have authorized it, communicate with a nursing facility or other party on your behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, to protect the rights and safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — to complete your screening, to provide any services you request, and to keep the records our legal, accounting, and professional obligations require. Records connected to a Medicaid application are generally kept longer than an abandoned screening. You can ask us to delete your information using the contact details below, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
7. How we protect it
We take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of this information. Traffic to and from the Site is encrypted in transit. Uploaded documents are held in private storage that is not publicly browsable and is reached only through short-lived, signed links. Access to case records is restricted by role, and portal sign-in uses a one-time code emailed to you rather than a reusable password.
No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect the email account you use with us, since that is how sign-in codes and results are delivered.
8. Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must retain.
- Stop at any time — you are never required to finish the screening, and you can decline to answer any question.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential email. Messages needed to deliver a service you requested (such as a sign-in code) are not marketing.
To make any of these requests, email intake@seniorcareres.com or call 239-977-5175. We may need to verify your identity, and your authority to act, before acting on a request about someone else’s information.
9. Acting for someone else
Most people using this screening are helping a parent, spouse, or other relative. If you provide someone else’s information, you confirm that you have the authority or permission to do so. If you hold a power of attorney or guardianship, we may ask to see it before discussing details or acting on instructions.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites
The Site links to other websites, including those of Senior Care Resources, Zacharia Frey PLLC, and government agencies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Review their policies before providing information to them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes or the law requires. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted here; continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
